SECTION 37-A

GRANT OF PERMISSION TO INDUSTRIAL or COMMERCIAL UNDERTAKINGS TO ACQUIRE or HOLD LAND ACQUIRED IN EXCESS OF CEILING

• Permission under section 37-A of the Act to be obtained from the Government. Application is to be filed in Form 36 prescribed under the rules SECTION 37-B GRANT OF PERMISSION TO EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS AND HOSPITALS RUN BY PUBLIC TRUST
• To obtain permission from the Government under section 37-B of the Act. Application is to be filed in Form 38 prescribed under the rules.

Hill Area Conservation Authority Approvals (HACA)

Government of Tamil Nadu (GoTN) has constituted an ad-hoc authority called “Tamil Nadu Hill Areas Conservation Authority” (HACA) for conservation of Hill Areas. HACA consists of Secretaries/Heads of various Government Departments, Collectors of Nilgiris (Ooty, Coonoor, Kotagiri, Gudalur) and Dindigul (Kodaikanal) districts as members of the Authority. The Secretary to Government, Housing and Urban Development Department is the Chairman and the Director of Town and Country Planning is the Member Secretary. The Government has notified the names of the villages which come under hill areas. The HACA considers the proposals in respect of these areas received from the Local Bodies / District Collectors / Government Departments etc., and based on the applicable Acts and Rules peruses the proposals made in these hill areas and sends in the recommendation to GoTN regarding the proposals for further orders.

Architectural and Aesthetics Aspects Committee (AAA):

Government of Tamil Nadu has constituted the “Architectural and Aesthetics Aspects Committee” exclusively in Districts with hilly terrain, namely, The Nilgiris (Ooty, Coonoor, Kotagiri, Gudalur), Dindigul (Kodaikanal) and Salem (Yercaud) through which Building Licenses are sanctioned. The AAA committees for Nilgiris, Salem and Dindigul Districts have been constituted with the respective District Collectors as Chairman and the respective Regional Deputy Directors of Town and Country Planning as Convenors and officials from Forests, Geology & Mining, Pollution Control Board, Municipal Commissioners and other Department officials as members. The AAA Committee before according its final approval for buildings refers proposals to the HACA.

Reclassification or Change of Land use (CLU):

We offer assistance to enable submission of application with concerned statutory authority for change in land use from agriculture to non-agriculture and vice-versa.
